Colorado Market Research was founded in 1962 in Denver, Colorado. A second facility,
Arizona Market Research, opened in 1982. Ruth Nelson Research Services, named after its
founder, was formed in 1988 to encompass market research and data collection in both states.
Ruth Nelson is considered an industry founder, having been active in MRA her entire career. |
She served as president of National MRA in 1975-76, and received the Distinguished Service
Award in 1996. She has also received the MRA's most pretigious award, the Honorary Lifetime
Membership Award.
