Colorado Market Research was founded
in 1962 in Denver, Colorado. A second facility, Arizona Market Research,
opened in 1982, and remained open for 26 years. Ruth Nelson Research Services, named after its founder,
was formed in 1988 to encompass market research and data collection
in both states.
Ruth Nelson is considered an industry founder, having been active
in MRA her entire career.
She served as president of National
MRA in 1975-76, and received the Distinguished Service Award in
1996. She has also received the MRA's most pretigious award, the
Honorary Lifetime Membership Award.
After 44 years in business, you can count on us to manage your
project the same way we did in 1962: with great attention to detail,
and an excitement about this business of data collection.

A Note to Our Clients
Sensory Testing is alive and well, even in this challenging economic time we live in. Colorado Market Research has been conducting these studies since the 1960’s. In those days we called them taste tests, or central location studies. We rented out the kitchens in church basements and school cafeterias, and recruited hundreds of people to sample numerous food and beverage products. Times have changed since then, but good old-fashioned recruiting and a seasoned and capable on-site staff have not.
Please contact us for a bid on your next food or beverage project. Your client will be happy you did!
